Trouble choosing a mat? 11 best eco Yoga mats reviewed in detail
If you are new to yoga and haven't been practicing for all that long, you may wonder what all the fuss is about Yoga mats!
I can personally attest to the fact that as you develop your practice and you begin to discover your preferred style, pace and sweat level, you start to realise what you really need from a mat. All mats are not made the same and the wonderful folks at consumersadvocate.org have put together a comprehensive list of the 11 best eco-friendly Yoga mats.
This is one of the best Yoga mat reviews I have read in a long time and will give any of us who are deciding which mat to choose a great overview. The prices are in dollars so if you are outside of the US, it could be an idea to check out prices in your home country ... it won't be that different and a quick currency conversion or Amazon search will give you the local prices.
My personal favourite though is the Jade Harmony mat (it's on the list!) simply because it's made from all-natural rubber, so it's environmentally friendly. They also plant a tree for every mat that's purchased and it's totally non-slip. I've got 2!
